I've been an Army National Guard wife since December of 2004, although my husband had been in the Army National Guard since 1999. He returned from a deployment to Iraq in June of 2006 and has since returned to civilian life. There seems to always be a possibility of eventual re-enlistment, so we're not all the way done yet! I enjoy reading, managing armywivesforums.com and being a Mom! I am currently a stay at home Mom to my son, Mason who was born in May 2007 and I'm expecting another baby in June 2008.

Hello I am Kara and the love of my life is Pepe. We are no longer army affiliated he is out of the army now and working for the border patrol. I am going back to school online for my Masters in Health Care Management but will be going full-time this fall. I have worked for a Retinal Specialist as an office manager/ ophthalmic technician/ surgical assistant and well really I do it all and have for the past 2 years. The doctor that I work for just opened her own practice in January so I have helped her to get that up and running. I am also working as a Surgery Coordinator for Baptist a few days a week. I spend most of my free time either on this site or volunteering for a few organizations.

My name is Joy. I am a mom to 4 great children (3 boys and one girl). I recently closed my in home daycare after so many years to become a Childcare Trainer for Alburn University. I was married for 22 years to a Soldier, but am now divorced. I am a very out going happy person you never know what I will say or do. I love spending weekends at the beach with friends and family.

My name is Stephanie, or Steph for short. I am no longer Army affiliated, but can't resist the site. I have a wonderful boyfriend named Kevin and we have 2 boys. I work full time as a manager of a custom cabinet shop. I'm also full time in school working on my Bachelor's of Criminal Justice. In my spare time I love to go on road trips (California is our popular destination), ride the quads, watch movies, and hang out with the family.

My name is Valerie (aka Val). I'm a proud army wife to Aaron who is in the United States Army Reserves. We have survived one deployment together. I'm also a proud stay at home mom to Noah, our first son! We currently live in a great house we bought in 2006 with our 2 cats; Keesha & Tigger. I enjoy spending all my time with my two loves; Noah & Aaron. My hobbies are recording my son, taking pictures of my son, scrap booking, making graphics and AWF!

My name is Amy and I am the wife to my wonderful Army Vet, Kiev. He served active army for four years, and was deployed twice during his service. I have two beautiful children with plans for another in the near future (theres nothing like lifting the fear of deployment to get those biological clocks ticking. ) I spend my days with my family, the great outdoors, video games, movies, my computer, and especially this site, which has my FOREVER gratitude!

I'm a stay at home Mom of 2, former financial advisor. I have been married to my soldier since Oct of 2001. He re-enlisted after being out for almost 15 full years...I was drawn into this Army world in Dec of 2006, and so far have enjoyed my stay. I keep myself busy with my kids, crafts, baking, and other highly Martha Stewart esk type things...though personally, I'd rather NOT be compared to said woman. I love people and enjoy getting to know everyone I can.

Hi! I am Allie and I am engaged to Craig, who is in the National Guard since 2003. He has been through one deployment and will offically be out of the army February of next year. We have been together a little over three years and I cannot wait to make it offical next spring. I am a senior at the University of South Carolina and I am planning on attending graduate school in the summer. Aside from school and AWF, I love shopping, working out, eating good food, and spending time with my man and my friends.

Hi Im Valerie my husband has been in the Army reserves for 12 yrs and going strong, we have survived 2 deployments!! Im going to school to be a future Nurse..hopefully Dr. one day but in the meantime mommy and wife and LOVING IT!

Hi, my name is Sherry. I been married to my soldier for almost 13 yrs. We have survived our 1st deployment to Iraq. We were just Reserves but after Iraq my husband decided to stay full time. I work outside the home and have 4 kids. One is married with a baby of her own. So I'm a proud Army wife, mom & grandmother.

Hi! My name is Gayla. My husband and I were married in 1989 and have two sons. My husband has been in the army for 20 years. We've been through a deployment in Iraq as well as a few other smaller deployments in the past. I'm a head teacher at a daycare for one and two year old's. I'm also an active military wife and have been an FRG leader in the past. I like to exercise, bake and mostly spend time with my family.

Between the two of us, we have 5 children (3 are mine, 2 are his) and 2 fur-babies. I returned back to work full-time after being a SAHM for 4 years.
