FAQ: Why has my account been retired?
A: Your account will be retired for one of three reasons.
1. You have requested that your account be deleted. We do not delete accounts here, as another member could possibly use your username to create a new account and impersonate you. Instead, we retire your username so it can't be used again.
2. You have posted a thread on the boards indicating that you are leaving the boards.
3. You are using an "alter ego" of a member who has been retired. The Retired function can not be routed around by creating a new account. This shouldn't even be a reason - if you've chosen to leave and don't wish to come back, there really is no reason for you to lurk here.
If you'd like to be un-retired, simply send a PM to Carly.
If this is the second time you've asked to be unretired, your request may be denied and you may stay permanently retired.
